The Product

Fareway Golf is a modern golf engagement platform designed to make the game more social, competitive, and accessible. By combining weekly contests, real-time leaderboards, and tee time aggregation across both simulators and on-course venues, Fareway is building the digital infrastructure for the future of recreational golf.

As Co-Founder and UX Director, I led the product vision, experience strategy, and end-to-end design — from early concept validation to launch. Along with the team, we designed a platform that seamlessly connects players and venues, simplifies gameplay tracking, and delivers a fun, frictionless experience for both casual and competitive golfers. My role has spanned user research, UX/UI design, feature prioritization, and go-to-market planning.

Fareway is on a mission to become the go-to platform where golfers discover tee times, join weekly contests, and stay connected to the game — on grass or indoors.

Goals

  • Be the One-Stop Destination for Golf: Aggregate tee times across courses and simulators, making it easy for golfers to book, play, and compete — all in one place.

  • Build Strong, Lasting Venue Partnerships: Collaborate closely with golf courses and sim venues to drive traffic, boost engagement, and add long-term value.

  • Make Golf Fun, Social & Competitive: Keep players coming back with weekly contests, gamified experiences, and a connected community.

  • Venue Acquisition & Retention: Proving long-term value and standing out in a crowded vendor space.

  • Two-Sided Marketplace Growth: Balancing venue and player growth to avoid mismatched supply/demand.

  • Product & Tech Scalability: Building a seamless, reliable platform across simulators and courses.
