Lead UX Designer - Responsive Web and CMS Implementation

The Project

After the successful launch of the Chipotle Mobile App, the VP of Digital Strategy & Product at Chipotle requested me as the Lead UX Designer on the redesign of the Chipotle website. In addition to the typical UX responsibilities, I also helped to scope and staff the project, put together the project roadmap, and planned each sprint alongside our Product Owner. We traveled to Chipotle’s test kitchen to perform usability testing as well as utilized surveys and heat map tools to get quick feedback as there were many new features Chipotle was ready to offer.

I oversaw and collaborated with 1 Senior UX Designer, 3 Senior Visual Designers, and 1 Copywriter and worked closely with our Creative Director, 2 Front-End Developers, and many others on the CMS team.
